NCAA Tournament Elite 8 Open Thread

We all know Dana Altman and Bill Self are meeting in the Final Four, right? Because that's how being a Hog fan works.

I'm sure everybody remembers when Dana Altman hop-scotched through Fayetteville back in 2007. At the time, I felt it was basically just an embarrassing moment that wasn't particularly consequential. That's since been proven completely wrong.

Altman eventually left Creighton for Oregon in 2010, and had the Ducks in the NCAA Tournament in three seasons, leading up to this year's 1-seed and Elite 8 appearance. Arkansas eventually hired John Pelphrey, which led to Mike Anderson a few years later, and the Razorbacks have earned NCAA Tournament appearances just twice since Altman's day in the Ozarks nine years ago.

Safe to say that day is no longer a funny, embarrassing story. It's become one of many serious "what-if"s over the last 20 years of Razorback basketball.
