Georgia linebacker Dee Walker has committed to Arkansas while on his official visit this weekend. He joins De'jon Harris, Alexy Jean-Baptiste and Gioanni LaFrance in the group that was a very high priority for the Hogs this year because of severe depth issues on the roster.
Walker is a 3-star prospect who chose the Hogs over offers from Louisville, Tennessee, Nebraska, Iowa, Kentucky, Pitt, UCF, Indiana and others. He took official visits to Indiana and Florida although he did not receive an offer from the Gators. Walker is also a teammate of Arkansas commit Kiel Pollard.
The Razorbacks should be finished at linebacker this year now that four are in the fold. It should be fun to watch and see who gets to play this year and who redshirts because the Hogs obviously need immediate help at the position, but some of the four incoming players will likely get a chance to redshirt and develop. It'll be a story to keep an eye on this offseason.
Walker is the 18th commitment for the 2016 class.
