Hackett played safety in high school but is being recruited as a linebacker. He's a composite 3* prospect who was a 2* on some services when he committed to Arkansas last summer, but has since been upgraded after further evaluation.
It should be known, however, that Hackett mostly played safety in high school, so it's uncertain how those ratings would translate to him playing linebacker.
He chose Arkansas over offers from Wisconsin, Syracuse, Kentucky, Cincinnati, and several others.
