College Football Top 25 Polls: Arkansas Unchanged After Bye; SEC Goes Wild

For once, the rest of the country went nuts while Arkansas got to sit back and watch, but we're now ranked #22 in the Sagarin rankings!

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

The Razorbacks are still gathering a few votes this week but not much differently than they did after the A&M game. Arkansas this week picked up 14 votes in the AP Poll (18 last week) and six votes in the Coaches Poll (five last week).

But the Hogs are now #22 in the Sagarin rankings! I don't know that means. I just know SB Nation includes the Sagarin rankings when they send us their table each week. But I'll take it!

It's possible that Texas A&M's poor showing at Mississippi State might have cost the Hogs some votes, but it doesn't appear to be a big issue.

As far as future opponents, both the Mississippi schools are now in the top five, and actually tied for 3rd in the AP Poll. That won't last long as the Bulldogs host #2 Auburn this week.

Georgia is now 10th in the Coaches Poll and 13th in the AP Poll as they get set to travel to Missouri, who is now 23rd/24th despite losing at home to Indiana a couple weeks back. LSU dropped out of the polls after getting blown out at Auburn, but they're still getting a lot more votes than Arkansas. Alabama was dropped to #7 in both polls.
