Arkansas Razorbacks Internet Chatter: December 20, 2013 - Hogs on Forbes CFB Value List, Basketball Team Singing Christmas Songs

News, notes and interesting reads for Hog fans. Happy Holidays from the men's basketball team.

Beth Hall-USA TODAY Sports

Hogs in Forbes – When Forbes magazine released its list of the 20 most valuable college football programs, as you would expect, it was SEC dominated. But it may come as a surprise to some to see Arkansas on the list in their current position. A lot of Arkansas being on this list is due to its incredibly passionate fan base, and the fact the Razorbacks are really the state's only sports attraction. Check out the list to find out where Arkansas stands amongst some of the premiere programs in the nation.

MBB Sings Christmas Songs – This isn't so much of an interesting read as it is a humorous attempt to sing songs you learned when you were in preschool. The Arkansas men's basketball team and a team manager got together to sing you Christmas songs and wish you a happy holidays and a Merry Christmas. Personally, my favorite is the Qualls-Gulley-Clarke R&B trio. Enjoy.

Arkansas Hoops Challenge – It's one of my favorite days of the year in high school basketball. Arkansas Wings coach Ron Crawford does a tremendous job setting up the challenge, getting many of Arkansas' top talents to play in the one-day showcase. This year is no exception. Bentonville's Malik Monk, Hog signee Trey Thompson of Forrest City, Lehigh signee Kahron Ross of Jonesboro, and the Lee brothers (Arkansas Tech signees) from Clarksville highlight the talent for the day. This is a wonderful opportunity to to check out all of the basketball talent Arkansas has to offer. The only thing missing is North Little Rock (insert sad face here).

Grantland CFB Dictionary – Brought to you by Grantland college football writer Holly Anderson, she gives us a college football dictionary that does not disappoint. There are several jabs and jokes thrown at Arkansas, particularly at Jen Bielema, but it's all in good fun. If you really want a good laugh, scroll down to the letter "U" and watch Under the Cherry Moon. It's phenomenal. Oh, and there's also an Arkansas FOIA story regarding Houston Nutt that was in SI way back when.

And with that, I wish all readers a very Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and safety if you're traveling to see family and friends. Go Hogs!
