Former Razorback Byran Jones Lands Assistant Coach Gig

The El Dorado varsity football program welcomed former Razorback defensive lineman, Byran Jones an Assistant Offensive Line Coach. The former Razorback standout is from Junction City and played along the defensive line from 2010-2013.

Jones totaled 47 games played at Arkansas recording 154 total tackles, 12.5 tackles for a loss and 3.5 sacks during his Razorback career. He was a former four-star lineman and top-200 prospect for the Dragons from 2007-2009. He finished his high school career with three straight championship appearances and back-to-back championships in 2008 and 2009.

According to his Facebook page this will be the first coaching job for Jones. The Wildcats are coached by another former Junction City native in head coach, Stephen Jones who is entering his second season as head coach for the El Dorado football program.
