The Hogs and Rebels are kicking off today at 2:30pm on the SEC Network. The crew at Arkansas Fight’s got winning on the brain.
BEN: I’m sure at this point you all are tired of me picking against the Hogs. So this week I’ll change things up. Arkansas really got the offense going last week after an abysmal first quarter. There’s no reason the offense won’t be rolling this week. This one will get stupid, so I'll give my pick to the home team. Arkansas 45 Ole Miss 42
LUKE: That Rebel offense scares me, and I’m not sure how well Barry Odom is sleeping this week, either. I wonder how much it helps that both defenses have been practicing against offenses as similarly-styled as the ones they’ll see today.
I think Lane Kiffin pulled out every stop against Alabama last week, and I have a hunch that the Body Blow Theory of feeling beat up the week after playing the Tide will have an effect on the game. If there are enough healthy Razorback defensive starters, the Hogs’ll come out on top. Arkansas 38 Ole Miss 31
ADAM: We thought Mississippi State would be a shootout, and then it wasn’t. I think this one is an unavoidable shootout. I didn’t like what I saw from Arkansas’ run defense against Auburn, but I haven’t liked a single thing about Ole Miss’s defense all year. I think the return of Rakeem Boyd and Treylon Burks will be enough for the Hog offense to outlast the Rebels. Arkansas 38, Ole Miss 35
