Thinking Big

Brandon Marcello has the full rundown on Razorback tight end D.J. Williams' appearance today on ESPN's College Football Live, but we wanted to highlight the quote below:

"Our mindset is to do the best we can do, and we understand we have a chance to be special this year. A national title is what every team wants in the beginning of the year, and I think that’s a realistic goal for us this year. We understand we have a tough schedule and big teams in the SEC to go through to do it. I do believe we work hard enough to accomplish that goal. It’s just how bad we want it."

Williams' comments come just more than a week after quarterback Ryan Mallett said much the same thing on the same show.

Clearly, these guys don't need any self-esteem boost from motivational guru Anthony Robbins. And clearly, Sept. 4 can't come soon enough. It's going to be one very fun year to be a Hog fan.
