ESPN's Joe Schad is reporting that Arkansas is on the verge of inking Bobby Petrino to a seven-year extension. In the ranks of college coaching - perhaps more than any other area of life - nothing is over until it's truly over. But this is, to say the least, a good sign.
Alas, I guess my dreams of Jack Crowe's triumphant return to the Razorback head coaching job will have to wait awhile.
