The footage below is from one of my all-time favorite Razorback football moments: the 1992 team's stunning upset of No. 4 and undefeated Tennessee in Knoxville. The Hogs, who were in their first year of SEC play, carried a mighty 1-4 record into the game and were led by interim coach and Expat favorite Joe Kines, who had replaced Jack Crowe after the season-opening loss to The Citadel.
I was fortunate enough to be in attendance, and one of my clearest memories of the afternoon was of a nearby UT fan drunkenly telling his wife, "I can't believe we're about to lose to this chicken---- team!"
There is so much to love in this clip: Orlando Watters' 71-yard punt return for a touchdown, Todd Wright's game-winning field goal, the look of pure shock on Kines' face. But for my money, the best part just may be the awesome early 1990s female hairdos that we catch a glimpse of at the 3 min., 42 sec mark.
