Briston Guidry has officially signed with the Arkansas Razorbacks as a part of the 2016 class.
Beating LSU two years in a row means more than bringing the boot back to Fayetteville. It means beating them on the recruiting trail. Briston stands out because he's 6'3" and 290 lbs, but he also sticks out because he's from an hour south of Baton Rouge, held an offer from LSU, but decided to sign with the Arkansas Razorbacks because of his relationship with Bret Bielema and the Arkansas coaching staff.
Arkansas continues to build size, depth, and athleticism on both the offensive and defensive fronts. The depth in the front four in the 2016 season should run 8 deep without Guidry, but that doesn't mean new players like Briston and McTelvin Agim can't begin to make some noise in the trenches.
Briston holds 4* ratings from all the recruiting services and is on the top lists for most of those services as well.
His 2015 stats include 91 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 9 sacks, and 2 fumble recoveries.
