Keaton is a cornerback from Camden and is the 2nd invited walk-on to commit to Arkansas in as many days. According to Richard Davenport, Keaton held scholarship offers from Eastern Illinois. Ouachita Baptist and Arkansas Tech, and was invited to walk on at other places, including Oregon.

Bret Bielema is a Subtle Tweeter

ABC, Coach. Always. Be. Crootin.

For the record, the most obvious connection to this tweet would be K.J. Hill, but Kendrick Jackson is also expected to announce his commitment this afternoon. Possibly only addressing one, possibly killing two birds with one stone.

Arkansas Does Not Appreciate Darren Rovell's Ty Storey Tweet

Everybody hates Rovell. That's the UA's official compliance office Twitter account.

North Little Rock LB Tyler Phillips Commits To Walk On at Arkansas

Phillips had been committed to Ouachita Baptist and was recently offered by Oregon as a preferred walk-on, but he's decided to head to Fayetteville and walk on to the Razorbacks.

Arkansas Announces Banner Unveilings for Corliss, Nolan, Sidney

This is the formal announcement, although it's been relatively known because UA has been selling a "Banner Pack" ticket package for the three games.

They will raise the banner for Sidney Moncrief this Saturday during the Mississippi State game, the Corliss WIlliamson banner February 18 vs Missouri, and one for Nolan Richardson February 24 vs Texas A&M.

Arkansas will also similarly honor women's basketball players Bettye Fiscus and Delmonica DeHorney during women's games later this season.

Jake Bequette Helps Patriots Win Super Bowl

Bequette is on the practice squad, and was on the sidelines during the game, and at one point (seen in this video) offered Tom Brady the type of team support that might have absolutely helped fuel New England's comeback. Congrats on that ring, Jake!

Alandise Harris' Foul Against Florida - All Ball or Nah?

Here's three different looks at Harris' foul that sent Florida to the free throw line just before the buzzer. Right call? I've seen players get straight mugged in the last seconds in SEC games without a foul call. This was pretty weak, to me.

Sports Illustrated Names Bobby Portis Nation's Top Sophomore

Here's part of what they say:

In August, my colleague Seth Davis predicted a breakout year for Portis, and he has improved in almost every metric, from offensive rating (122.3, compared to 116.1 as a freshman) to usage (24.5%, up from 21.4%). The 6-foot-11 stud is wisely taking a lot of shots at the rim (40 percent according to, but he is able to step out and score too -- shooting 38.7 percent on jumpers, 66 percent on assisted jumpers and 56.2 percent from three-point range (albeit on just 16 attempts).

Appears K.J. Hill Will Not Visit Arkansas This Weekend

This has gone back and forth all week, including a report this morning quoting his NLR OC as saying he would visit (which has since been retracted) but it does seem at this point like Hill will stay home this weekend. The way this has gone, check back in half an hour and see if that's changed. Just like Arkansas weather.

He has not committed anywhere as of yet, and no one really seems to know where he's going to end up, but this is obviously a bad sign if you're still hoping he signs with Arkansas.
