Mike Anderson said the decision regarding whether Qualls plays against Mississippi State on Saturday may not come until just before tipoff. Qualls didn't start but still scored 11 points and grabbed 9 rebounds against South Carolina on Tuesday before suffering the injury late in the game.
This is the first of the "banner game" in which Arkansas will be raising a banner to the rafters of Bud Walton in honor of former greats. This is Sidney Moncrief's game, and that will surely be a special moment.
Mississippi State had an absolutely dreadful non-conference season but has been hot of late, as they currently have a 4-5 SEC record and won on the road in Knoxville on Tuesday. But a sold out BWA on a day we're honoring Sidney? Good luck.
Get to know the Razorbacks' new Danish sensation Hjalte Froholdt.
Arkansas made a few feature videos for some of the signees. This is the one for Will Gragg.
The safety from New Orleans took an official visit to Fayetteville last weekend after receiving a late offer from the Razorbacks, but he's deciding to sign with UCF. Many of the recruiting reporters are saying Arkansas backed off of him, which may be true with Willie Sykes came into the picture, but believe it how you want to. Regardless, Scott will be heading to UCF.
Allen's signing isn't counted on the rankings from the recruiting services because of his uncommon (get it?) enrollment situation, but he is an offensive line signee with Arkansas.
Arkansas released this video of Bielema calling to congratulate DE T.J. Smith this morning. There's also some awful country music playing in the room. Is that bro country? I think that might be bro country.
The DB from Texas flipped from Nebraska and committed to the Razorbacks last night, but now it's official.
The big offensive tackle Arkansas was hoping to sign has decided on Baton Rouge. This was starting to leak earlier in the week but now it's official.
Hill's official announcement isn't until later this morning, but several reports out of Ohio indicate he's already sent in his LOI. Especially since he went to a team Arkansas won't play (unless meeting in a bowl game) we can all forget about this story now.
