Williams has one of the most impressive offer lists of any of the current Hog commits. Over half the SEC, including Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Miss State, and Missouri all offered him. His other visits before committing included TCU, Texas, and Oregon State.
The 6’4” 235 lbs. Defensive end committed to the Hogs in the middle of summer when the coaching staff got a flurry of commitments. When he joined the class in July, he was the third commit of the week.
He is one of potentially six defensive linemen to sign today and is right up there as one of the highest WDE’s in this Razorback class. He had swung back and forth between a 4 and 3-star rating throughout the year. 247Sports’ composite had him as a 4-star at the time of his commitment but now has him as a high 3-star.
