The first of two Mansfield Legacy teammates expected to sign with Arkansas is officially on board. Taurean Carter is one of the newest members of the Razorback defensive line.

Arkansas is two for two on Mansfield Legacy players this class and is hoping to add a third in four-star Jalen Catalon. Carter is one of a very big defensive end class in 2019. Arkansas will need to add some depth there and hopefully can keep McTelvin Agim on the interior of the line in 2019.
Mansfield Legacy has been one of the stronger programs in Texas for a couple of years now. Carter finished the year with 13 sacks on the strong side of the line in his junior and senior years combined. Arkansas has really loaded up on WDE’s but Carter’s size on the strong side of the line should be a big get for the Hogs.
Arkansas could sign as many as six on the defensive line today and potentially could add more in the February window. It’s definitely been one of the strong points of this 2019 class right behind the receiver group.
