At 6’3” and 188 lbs, he has very good speed for his size and should be a good asset for Chad Morris’ offense. He is the lowest ranked of the receivers coming in, but is still very talented in his own right. He’s a top-500 recruit based on 247Sports, and has caught 11 touchdowns and at least 700 yards in each of his three seasons in high school.
He had offers from some other Power 5 schools, Texas Tech, Baylor, TCU, Arizona, and Missouri were interested in him. While it came down to Arkansas and Texas Tech, he sounded very sure that Fayetteville was the place for him for a while before announcing his commitment back in the summer.
Jackson is one of the first to sign with the Hogs in the early signing period, and should be one of as many as 19 players expected to sign for the Hogs.
