Arkansas and SEC Teams Regular Season Betting Odds

The odds-makers at @SBD (https://twitter.com/SBD) have set the over/under win totals for Alabama and Clemson at 11.5 while Ohio State and Oklahoma are listed at 11.0. Each of the four powerhouses are also favored to win their conference championships; Alabama (+103), Ohio State (-135), Clemson (-350) and Oklahoma (+110). In the PAC-12, Oregon’s over/under win total is set at 9.0 while their odds to win the PAC-12 Championship is (+325).

The interesting stat from SBD is that Alabama is the only SEC team favored to even win double digit games in 2021. Texas A&M and Georgia are both predicted to win 9 and 9.5 games games this season, respectively.

SBD has the first year coaches ranjee modestly. Auburn at seven wins under first year head coach Bryan Harsin. At Tennessee they currently sit at 5.5 wins under Josh Huepel. That is a pretty generous spot considering the current shape of the football program. South Carolina sits at 3.5 wins under Shane Beamer, Vanderbilt is the lowest with three projected wins under Clark Lea.
Bryce Young is the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy that is awarded to the country’s best college football player each season. His head coach at Alabama, Nick Saban, said he could make seven-digits due to the new NIL rule that started July 1st. Georgia’s JT Daniels and Ole Miss’ Matt Corral are also expected to be challengers for the Heisman.

Arkansas’ players had favorable numbers in the projections. Trelon Smith had 845 yards predicted although he nearly hit that mark last season (710) in just limited carries and a 10 game SEC season. Treylon Burks projected yards was just under 1,000 yards at 997.5. Burks missed a game and a quarter last season but was still the Razorbacks leading playmaker at receiver. With 820 yards in those games he should be able to surpass us productivity from 2020.
