Hogs and Horns Set for Prime Time
The Arkansas Razorbacks and Texas Longhorns are slated to square off at 6 p.m. on September 11 in Fayetteville. The primetime matchup will renew the long-time Southwest Conference rivalry. The Hogs and Horns last met in the 2014 Texas Bowl where the Hogs rolled over the Longhorns 31-7.
Texas will visit Fayetteville for the first time since 2004. Steve Sarkisian’s new look Longhorns are expected to make a statement in his first season. Texas has appeared in the top 25 in several preseason polls. Meanwhile, Sam Pittman’s squad will look to build on the early momentum established during the COVID-19 ridden 2020 season.
The game will air on ESPN and take college football’s center stage in week 2 of the new season.
