After a few days of thought and deliberation Razorback wide receiver target, Jaedon Wilson (6’3 175) committed to the Razorbacks 2021 class. He had been trending towards Arkansas for what seems like the longest time. He built a strong relationship with receiver position coach, Justin Stepp. He visited Arkansas on their February 1st “Junior Day” where elite athletes from all over the country attended and view the Razorback football facilities on an unofficial visit.
Wilson has a long list of 29 offers from schools across the country but cut his list to ten on May 10. The teams included Illinois, UCLA, Nebraska, Cal, Utah, Missouri, Kansas, Louisville and Oregon State.
He recorded 28 receptions for 523 yards and 7 touchdowns. During his junior season, Wilson was named to the all-district team while helping lead his DeSoto high school team to a 9-3 record and a trip to the second round of the Texas High School Playoffs. He is rated the 110th wide receiver in the country and 121 best player in the state of Texas.
