Arkansas Picks Up Running Back Commitment From Oklahoma

NATE BILLINGS

The Arkansas Razorback football program has been on life support the previous two seasons. With a new staff brings a breath of fresh air and optimism as they have brought in quite a haul so far amidst the pandemic and back to back 2-10 seasons.

That aside, the Razorbacks are trending nicely in the Sooner State gaining a couple already with Keuan Parker and Javion Hunt who committed moments ago.

Hunt is a 6’0 205 running back out of Oklahoma City. He is on the cusp of being a four star tailback by just a decimal point on 247sports. Hunt is the 21st ranked running back in the country and fifth overall in Oklahoma. His offer list includes Nebraska, Ole Miss, Virginia Tech, Baylor, Texas Tech, Iowa State and many more.

In 2019, Hunt helped lead his school, Carl Albert to their third straight 5-A championship. He gained over 1600 yards rushing for 30 touchdowns and caught 12 passes for 135 yards and one touchdown last season.

Along with his speed (4.41 40 yard dash) he boasts tremendous vision, burst and lateral quickness in the backfield.
