Grant Morgan was named SEC Defensive Player of the Week and Hudson Clark tabbed Freshman Defensive Player of the Week.
I would go as far as saying we could stop right there and offer our respects to them as they both had elite efforts against Ole Miss.
As I mentioned on twitter these two had two of the best performances EVER for walk-on’s. Folks, these kind of moments are what kids that walk-on dream about. These two outstanding young men are living it out right now under coordinator Barry Odom.
Arkansas’ Grant Morgan and Hudson Clark are National Players of the Week and you won’t tell me differently.

One is a former walk-on and the other is currently a redshirt freshman walk-on. Both of them have exceeded any expectations put towards them.
Give them some respect!
Pittman added during his Monday presser that Morgan was injured for most of the week and given some rest leading into the matchup against Ole Miss.
“Grant couldn’t practice, we put a green shirt on him, he kept trying to put the red on but ‘no no no, we’re not gunna touch you’ Then he goes out and has that game. He’s out there holding his elbow and goes and picks off a pass to win. He is Arkansas,” said Pittman.
Morgan finished the game is the nation’s leading tackler with a 19 tackle, 3 tackles for a loss and an interception returned for a touchdown.
Clark had a special day. A kid that dreamed of playing for the Razorbacks as a kid in Dallas, Texas has really come into his own in relief of the injured defensive back Montaric Brown. The redshirt freshman finished the game being targeted four times with three interceptions and one catch allowed.
If the SEC didn’t know about Clark before the game they sure will now.

The Hogs will take the week off as their scheduled bye week ahead of a matchup with Texas A&M on October 31.
