Razorback Basketball Pickup Transfer From Little Rock

Arkansas lands Little Rock forward transfer Kamani Johnson (6-7, 215) becoming their 4th transfer for the offseason.

Johnson chose the Hogs over DePaul and St. John’s. He averaged 11 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.2 assists starting 25 games for the Trojans last season

Third team All-Sun Belt selection ... Two-time Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week. Shot 51.3% from the floor and 72.7% from the free throw line ... Tied for fifth in the Sun Belt in rebounds per game and was second in offensive rebounds per game (3.0).

Johnson has also shown his ability to score at an elite clip. As he recorded two 30 point games last season for the Little Rock Trojans. He set a career-high in scoring and rebounds in a win over Arkansas State back in February 22 with 32 points and 16 rebounds and going 14-of-19 from the free throw line. Johnson also scored 30 points with 13 rebounds, including a 14-for-16 mark at the free throw line, and five assists in the win over UT Arlington on January 4th of this season.

Johnson has joined Jalen Tate (Northern Kentucky), Justin Smith (Indiana) and Vance Jackson (New Mexico) as the other transfers this offseason.
