Another week, another double-double for Bobby Portis. In a win over Minnesota Portis had 26 points and 12 rebounds, shooting 55.6% from the field including 3-6 from three. He also scored 7 with 11 rebounds in a loss to Boston this week.
Patrick Beverley just keeps filling up the stat sheet. He had a 12 point game in a win against Sacramento, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in a win over the Knicks, and in a win against the Lakers he scored 13 with 9 rebounds, 5 steals, and 4 assists. Beverley made 6 of 12 three pointers in the three games.
The NFL Scouting Combine took place over the last week and there were four Razorbacks who participated. Hjalte Froholdt ran 5.2 in the 40-yard dash, completed 31 reps of 225lbs on the bench press, and had a vertical jump of 27.5in. Dre Greenlaw did not run the 40, but completed 24 reps on bench and had a vertical of 33.0. Armon Watts ran a 5.23 but completed no other events. Ryan Pulley ran a 4.61 with 11 reps and a 31.0in vertical.
Watts was graded within in the range of having a chance to become an NFL starter, while the other three fell in the range of NFL backup or special teams potential. The NFL draft will be held from April 25-27.
