Arkansas’ SEC Tournament is underway, as the Hogs start Day 2 with a matchup against Florida. The Hogs lost their first matchup in a low scoring affair in Fayetteville. The Hogs had a strong defensive effort but couldn’t drop the ball in the ocean that night. They will certainly be needing a better offensive performance.
The Gators come into this one squarely on the bubble and in big need of a win. While Arkansas needs multiple wins to make the NCAA Tournament. The Gators are knocking on the door and a loss would almost certainly knock them out.
Arkansas has looked much better in their past three games but beating a down and out Vandy team and a struggling Alabama squad aren’t eyebrow raisers. If the Hogs get another Q1 win on a neutral court it can be a big boost for their postseason outlook, and set up a matchup with LSU.
