Pro Hogs Update: Trey Flowers Inks Huge Deal With Lions

Bobby Portis getting it done from the three point line and on the boards

In a week of many NFL roster moves and trades, Trey Flowers found himself as the winner of a major deal, signing with the Detroit Lions for 5 years, $90 million, including $56 million guaranteed. In three full seasons with the Patriots, Flowers totaled 164 tackles, 21 sacks, 5 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, and 9 stuffs for 32 total yards lost.


Bobby Portis is back to his three point making ways. He has made 12 of 23 threes over his last five games, and logged two double-doubles in his last two games. In an overtime loss to Minnesota, Portis scored 21 with 12 rebounds, and in a win over Sacramento he had 17 points and 13 rebounds.

Patrick Beverley has been an asset in the assist category lately, sharing 19 of them over his last three games. He also had an 11 point, 5 rebound game in a win over Boston, a game in which he also had 6 assists.
