Time: 8 p.m. CT
TV: SEC Network
Line: Kentucky -15.5
Location: Rupp Arena
Arkansas is heading to Rupp Arena for a game against the Wildcats, and based on the Hogs’ most recent road games, this one could get NSFW very quickly. The current line of 15.5 feels generous as the Wildcats have beaten Tennessee and Auburn by 17 points and 27 points in their last two home games.
Kentucky is top-10 in KenPom’s offensive and defensive efficiency ratings, they have one of the top interior defenses led by Reid Travis and P.J. Washington. They’re also one of the top offensive rebounding teams in the conference, which isn’t ideal for the Hogs who have struggled to rebound all season.
In addition to having a big talent differential, Kentucky is a matchup nightmare for the Hogs. Isaiah Joe and Daniel Gafford are going to have to get a good amount of help offensively. The bench production will need to be there, and like in the LSU win, Arkansas needs to hit a stretch of the game where they are unconscious shooting to have a real chance at winning.
