NFL
Chargers TE Hunter Henry was not active for their opening playoff game against the Ravens, but Los Angeles pulled out the win anyway. It was announced this week that Henry has been activated and has been a full participant in practice. All signs point to him being able to play this week against the Patriots.
On the other side of the ball in that matchup will be defensive ends Trey Flowers and Deatrich Wise Jr. who have both contributed all season to a defense that ranks 7th with just 20.3 points allowed per game this season.
Also still in the playoffs is OL Jason Peters of the Eagles. Philadelphia edged out Chicago last week when the Bears missed a last second field goal that would have won the game. The Eagles will be tasked with playing the offensive juggernaut New Orleans Saints.
NBA
Clippers PG Patrick Beverley scored 16 points and had 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, and 1 blocked shot in a win over the Suns.
In his first two games back from his most recent injury, Bobby Portis came off the bench to score 17 and 15 points with 5 and 6 rebounds, respectively. He was 3-4 and 3-6 from three in the two games.
