Only one game to talk about this week, but things will be picking up soon.
Women’s Basketball
Arkansas had to shake off some rust against Jackson State but eventually pulled away with a 76-57 win. It was tied at the half but a 20-3 Razorback run put them ahead for good. Alexis Tolefree was a big part of that run and tied a career high with five 3-pointers. They started the game ice cold, missing their first 13 from long distance but made six of their next seven.
Arkansas has now won six straight games and is 11-3 heading into SEC play. They’ve nearly matched their win total from last season already and have already surpassed their total of road wins from last year. Mike Neighbors looks to have the team moving in the right direction but will have a huge challenge in their first SEC game in Mississippi State.
Coming Up This Week:
Women’s Basketball: vs. No. 7 Mississippi State (1/3); at Ole Miss (1/6)
Swimming and Diving: Georgia Diving Invite (1/4)
Gymnastics: vs. No. 2 Oklahoma (1/5)
