Arkansas has added even more depth to an already deep defensive line class. Mansfield, TX defensive tackle Enoch Jackson announced he is the 17th commit of the Hogs’ 2019 class.

Jackson is 6-foot, 290 pound defensive tackle. While Arkansas has seven defensive line commits now, he is the third defensive tackle and helping bolster the depth there. Arkansas was his choice while also considering Oklahoma State, Georgia, Texas Tech, Iowa and Ole Miss. Arkansas also had to fend off a late offer from Clemson, who has been dominant in recruiting defensive linemen in the past few years.
Arkansas has made a recent habit of targeting multiple players at the same high school who already have relationships with each other. This class already has Shamar Nash and Eric Gregory, teammates from the Memphis area and IMG Academy. Treylon Burks and Warren Miller both come from Warren, and the staff is trying to do this again with Jackson and a couple of other Mansfield Legacy players. Jalen Catalon and Taurean Carter are also getting offers from the Hogs.
