This week in recruiting just got better for the Hogs. After bringing in two from Texas, Arkansas landed Zach Williams. The DE from Little Rock is the highest rated recruit Chad Morris has brought in this far.
SAME STORY SECOND CHAPTER!! Proud to be a second generation HOG!! #WPS @Senator_Pride @ArRecruitingGuy @gabrieldbrooks @NikkiChavanelle https://t.co/AlMRgQ5MEO @ArElite100 pic.twitter.com/lFSUSkVvkW— Zach Williams (@ZachWilliams56) July 6, 2018
247Sports has Williams as a 4-star and the fifth ranked player in the state of Arkansas. The son of former Razorback linebacker Ricky L. Williams is the ninth of the 2019 class.
Williams has one of the most impressive offer lists of any of the current Hog commits. Over half the SEC, including Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Miss State, and Missouri all offered him. His other visits before committing included TCU, Texas, and Oregon State.
This is a big win for the Hogs because of how important this in state group is. Arkansas hasn’t seen a group of players this highly recruited in a while and it will help out Morris with fans immensely if he can get the most of this class.
