Some more of Arkansas’ upcoming non conference schedule has trickled in. The Hogs will get a home and home with Big 10 foe Indiana, playing in Fayetteville this season, and in Assembly Hall in 2019.
Indiana and Arkansas will start a home-and-home series on November 18th at Bud Walton Arena, per a source. Return game in Bloomington in 19-20. #iubb

This is the third all time matchup between the two schools and the first in Fayetteville. Indiana won in Bloomington way back in 1949, and more fans will remember Arkansas’ 86-72 win in the 2008 NCAA Tournament. The matchup this season could feature two future NBA lottery picks in Daniel Gafford and Indiana’s incoming freshman Romeo Langford.
A smaller bit of news that comes with that is that is part of the Hardwood showcase, a common scheduling practice to add a few common mid major opponents to these bigger games. According to Jeff Goodman, UT Arlington, UC Davis, Texas A&M CC, and Montana State will also play the two schools.

Indiana, UT Arlington, UC Davis, Texas A&M CC and Montana State.
Indiana goes to Arkansas this year on Nov. 18 and Arkansas returns the following season.
This is in addition to already knowing that Arkansas will have non-conference games against Texas in the season opener at Fort Bragg, Western Kentucky, and Texas Tech. That makes eight non-conference games, which will be a little more than half of the non conference slate.
