For the first time in the program’s 22-year history, Arkansas softball will be hosting a regional. Last night the selection show revealed the 64-team bracket and Arkansas was the No. 13 seed, hosting Oklahoma State, Wichita State, and DePaul this weekend.

Arkansas will open against DePaul on Friday at 4 p.m. CT after Oklahoma State and Wichita State open things at 1:30 p.m. The Hogs’ regional is paired with the Norman regional led by No. 4 Oklahoma for the Super Regional matchup.
Arkansas earned the regional on the heels of a 39-15 record, the most wins since 2002, and their best SEC Tournament performance since 2001. The Razorbacks beat Kentucky and Georgia before falling to South Carolina.
There’s a huge SEC presence in the NCAA Tournament once again. A year after all 13 programs made the tournament, the conference made it back-to-back years where every team made the tournament. Nine of the 16 regionals are being hosted by SEC schools. You can see the whole tournament bracket here.
