Arkansas NFL Free Agent Tracker

Where are some former Hogs heading and do they have a shot at the 53 man roster?

NCAA Football: Mississippi State at Arkansas Brett Rojo-USA TODAY Sports

Both Frank Ragnow and David Williams were taken in the recent NFL Draft, but they won’t be the only new Hogs showing up to NFL Training camps. Four players from last season’s team will be trying to crack the roster as undrafted free agents this summer.

Austin Allen - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

After 29 games and over 5,000 career passing touchdowns yards (whoopsie), Allen is heading down to Florida. Unfortunately for him their offensive line was in the lower third of quarterback hits allowed last season so he still might be on the run a lot if he sees the field.

Likelihood of Making Final Roster - Not all that bad. He’ll definitely be behind Jameis Winston and Ryan Fitzpatrick. But he could beat out Ryan Griffin, who hasn’t thrown a pass in five years in the league.

Bijhon Jackson - Los Angeles Chargers

Jackson is coming in more on potential than production from his time at Arkansas. He finished with just 47 tackles in 50 total games, but his size and his athleticism will give him a shot with the right coaching.

Likelihood of Making Final Roster - Not ideal. With a 3-4 defense, there aren’t as many spots available for DT’s, and Jackson has some stiff competition there.

Josh Liddell - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

A solid senior year gave Liddell the opportunity with the Buccaneers and will head to Tampa with Allen. He ended his career with five INT’s and and three forced fumbles. He’ll fit right in with a team that was tied for seventh in takeaways last year.

Likelihood of Making Final Roster - Again, not bad. The Buccaneers don’t have the deepest group of safeties and they have three rookies coming in, including Liddell. They’re looking to overhaul at the position which means Liddell has a shot.

Henre’ Tolliver - Indianapolis Colts

Tolliver comes to Indianapolis after tying for the team lead in interceptions and PBU’s in 2017. He finished his career with eight interceptions and 23 PBU’s.

Likelihood of Making Final Roster - Not very good. They didn’t draft a DB this year, which means they’re not looking to change much at the position. He’s going to have to make a great first impression to get there.
