Once you get to the later rounds of the NFL Draft anything goes. Players just need to convince one team to take a shot on them, and David Williams was able to do just that with the Denver Broncos. He was their final selection of the 2018 Draft.
And that's a wrap for the 2018 #BroncosDraft.

Welcome to #BroncosCountry, David Williams! pic.twitter.com/KR7uwBMi0F
Williams heads to Denver after just one season with the Razorbacks. He came to the Hogs as a graduate transfer after playing for South Carolina. In his lone season with the Hogs, he picked up 656 yards and eight touchdowns and led the team in rushing yards, all purpose yards, rushing touchdowns, and overall touchdowns.
He was the second running back that Denver picked, along with Oregon’s Royce Freeman, so the Broncos are clearly looking for some new options at the running back position, one that always has a ton of turnover in the league. Williams may have been a very late pick but he will certainly get a chance to make his mark with the team.
