Arkansas Wins Series vs. S Carolina
For the first time in SEC play, Arkansas didn’t get the Friday win and had to close out the series with two wins. In the 14 innings of the remaining doubleheader, they only allowed four hits and shutout the Gamecocks. Even with Blaine Knight only going four innings, Arkansas managed to hold South Carolina to scoring just three runs over the weekend.
LSU Sweeps Tennessee
Yes it was Tennessee, but the Tigers are making a climb up the standings. After the first two wins, the Tigers needed a walk off in the finale and got it.
HOLY @Daniel2cabrera! That ball was DEMOLISHED as LSU completed the sweep with a 9-7 win against Tennessee! #GeauxTigers pic.twitter.com/4WCs6IoRLJ

LSU has now passed Ole Miss in the standings and has a chance over the next two weekends (at South Carolina, and at Ole Miss) to firmly add themselves to the West contenders.
Vanderbilt Wins Series vs. Ole Miss
Ole Miss’ offense is still there but the pitching has fallen off and the Rebels dropped a second straight series. Vandy won both games in their finale doubleheader with an 8-7 score line. The series also included the ole hidden ball trick.
Vandy being savvy & pullin' of the hidden ball trick to keep them in the ball game...

Kentucky Wins Series at Georgia
Georgia has hit some rough times in SEC play but had a decent week considering it included a road midweek win over Clemson. Kentucky has shaken off their rough start and got the series win with a 1-0 pitcher’s duel win the finale.
Auburn Wins Series vs. Miss State
Auburn needed a series win in the worst way and got it over Mississippi State, a team thats steadily getting saltier to play. They got the usual Casey Mize gem in a 2-1 win, then took the finale 7-5. The Tigers needed the series win to stay out of the bottom of the SEC West.
Florida Sweeps Missouri
Just the usual of Florida taking care of business against a weaker team. Over the course of the series the Gators outscored Missouri 20-5 and out hit them 32-14. No questioning here who the elite team was.
Texas A&M Sweeps Alabama
Things are really slipping away from the Tide at the moment and A&M took advantage of it. It was a sloppy series with 12 errors on the weekend but A&M’s bats were just too much for the Tide to handle.
