If you thought that Chad Morris’ offensive style meant Arkansas shying away from bigger offensive linemen, Joseph Stone just disproved that. The 6’8” 360 pound offensive lineman from Trussville, Alabama committed to the Hogs this weekend.

With Stone’s commitment, Arkansas’ 2019 class is back up to three players after Trevis Hopper’s decision to re-open his recruiting. In a very rare situation, Stone might actually benefit from losing some wight before coming to campus. He’s been a priority for the coaching staff for a while now. Stone said Arkansas was the leader for him after the offered him in February. He made an official visit this weekend and it ended in a commitment.

Stone had power five offers from Purdue and Louisville, while Group of 5 teams like Mid Tennessee and Lane Kiffin’s FAU were interested and offered as well. He is a three star recruit and ranked as the 93rd best OT in 247Sports’ rankings.
