More on the Crimson Tide
Much like the Hogs, Alabama has had a real rollercoaster of the past couple of months. After a 5-2 start that included a win over Auburn, they dropped five of eight and are now 8-7 just like everyone else in the SEC. They’ve played a very difficult schedule to this point and play the same style that has been the most frustrating for the Hogs this season/
Projected Starters
There was some question with the newest information in the FBI investigation if Collin Sexton would be available but unless there’s an extremely last minute change he will be available. He and Dazon Ingram are two lengthy athletic guards who can drive and will score plenty. John Petty is their sharpshooter from outside and Donta Hall is their leading rebounder.
Three Key Stats
Alabama is a matchup nightmare for the Hogs. They are an elite defensive team, especially defending the three. On the other side of the ball they have athletic, playmaking guards who have given the Hogs fits all season. For Arkansas to win they’re going to need to manufacture extra possessions. Force turnovers, get offensive rebounds, and not let Alabama get extra opportunities. Daryl Macon and Jaylen Barford both need to be involved offensively and get help from another source. The bench can’t afford to put up a dud like they did against Kentucky.
