The first of Arkansas’ trio of 4-star receivers has put pen to paper for the Hogs. IMG Academy WR Shamar Nash, originally from the Memphis area is officially a Hog. He and his teammate at IMG and in Memphis, Eric Gregory are coming to the Hogs together.

Nash was originally committed to Missouri before he officially flipped to the Razorbacks. During that time he had offers from half of the SEC as well as Memphis. It didn’t take him long after his visit to Fayetteville to make that flip.

At 6’1” and 194 lbs., he’s the smaller of the three marquee wide receivers in this class but has the talent and speed to make up for that. This group including Trey Knox, Treylon Burks, and TQ Jefferson is one of the most talented group of receivers the Hogs have had coming in a long time, and is getting early comparisons to the Joe Adams, Greg Childs, and Jarius Wright bunch. While we should definitely wait for them to take the field before doing that, it is definitely reason to be more excited about the 2019 season.
