The most recent Razorback commit has officially signed on. Tulsa native Ricky Stromberg flipped from Tulsa to Arkansas on Tuesday, and now on Wednesday he’s officially signed with the team.

A late offer from Dustin Fry led to a quick decision to play for the Hogs. He is listed as 6’3” and 280 lbs. and plays for Union in Tulsa, one of the strongest and most well known programs in the state of Oklahoma, so getting good ties there could pay dividends for the Hogs in the future. He is also very close friends with Brady Jenks, another offensive lineman from Oklahoma.
In his commitment article yesterday, we brought up the huge discrepancy among recruiting services on Stromberg. Rivals ranks him as just a 2-star but 247Sports has him as a 4-star.
Regardless, he’s experienced on the interior part of the line and should be a part of the plans either at offensive guard or center moving forward for the Hogs.
