Cunningham is a 6’5”, 300 lbs. JUCO from Iowa Central C.C. Arkansas was one of the first major programs to offer him. Morris and staff were offering him before Oklahoma, Texas, Nebraska, Missouri, Mississippi State and others. After taking officials in both Fayetteville and Norman, the decision came down to Arkansas and Oklahoma.
The Hogs have struggled on the offensive line and are replacing multiple starters, including Hjalte Froholdt. At a position that was already thin, they needed help in anyway possible. No matter who is at quarterback, Arkansas needs a much more serviceable offensive line and hopes are that Cunningham can bring an instant impact.
