Cross Country
The two cross country sides went to a snowy Wisconsin for the NCAA Championships and both fell below their ranking. SEC Individial champion Gilbert Boit struggled as the men finished in 25th. The Women finished in 14th. They were led by freshman Katrina Robinson who finished 41st, just a single spot from earning All-American honors.
Soccer
After topping Little Rock in the first round, the Hogs travelled to North Carolina and fell in double OT to Virginia Tech. The third straight NCAA Tournament ended in a 1-0 defeat that was just minutes away from penalty kicks.
Swimming and Diving
While the divers were off in Austin, the rest of the squad finished in second at the Missouri Invitational. It was a successful meet overall for the Hogs who broke eight school records in the process.
Volleyball
It was a tough weekend schedule for the volleyball team. They started with a 0-3 loss at the hands of #11 Kentucky. They then were able to get a set off #22 Tennessee before eventually falling to the Volunteers in their home finale.
Women’s Basketball
It was an exciting first week for the Hogs in Mike Neighbors second season in Fayetteville. The Hogs travelled to UT-Arlington and got a buzzer beater from Alexis Tolefree.
