14. Arkansas
As if they weren’t already locked them into the bottom enough. Even a win over Missouri is pulling this team out of the bottom.
13. Ole Miss
They very likely are going from 5-2 to plummeting to 5-7 real quick. They should have had a TD in overtime but also don’t go to overtime with Vandy.
12. Tennessee
11. Vanderbilt
These two could be completely interchangeable this year, and look at that they play each other on the last week of the year with a bowl game on the line. Whoever wins is chalking this season up as a pretty big positive.
10. South Carolina
Can they hang with Clemson? Probably not but it would be incredibly entertaining if they found a way to.
9. Auburn
Can they hang with Alabama? Probably not but it would be incredibly entertaining if they found a way to.
8. Texas A&M
Unless they upset LSU their first year with Jimbo will go exactly like why they fired Kevin Sumlin, starting on fire then falling to 7-5.
7. Kentucky
They should finish up the year 9-3, a really special year for this football program but probably not getting a New Year’s Six bowl unless something odd happens.
6. Missouri
Derek Dooley got his revenge in Knoxville and 8-4 is looking very likely for the Tigers.
5. Mississippi State
If they avoid any Egg Bowl silliness, it will be a very nice rebound for Joe Moorhead after a tough start to SEC play.
4. Florida
Yeah they’re pretty comfortably the 4th best team in the conference and in place for a New Year’s Six Bowl.
3. LSU
Wrap up a win over Texas A&M and a NY6 birth is all but secured.
2. Georgia
One final hurdle before they faceoff against Bama, unfortunately it’s one hell of an annoying triple option hurdle.
1. Alabama
Yup.
