Since going 0-for-4 in game one of the ALCS against Houston, Andrew Benintendi has recorded 3 hits in his last two games. He singled and drove in a run in game two before knocking two singles in game three. He also scored a run in each of those two games. The Red Sox are two wins away from a World Series birth.
Dallas Keuchel got the start in game three for Houston, but he did not factor into the decision. After giving up 2 runs in the first inning, Keuchel settled down and kept the Astros in it with four shutout innings. He gave up hits to the first three batters of the game before sitting down 15 of the last 18 batters he faced and allowing only one more hit in his five inning effort. His final line was 5 innings, 2 earned runs, 4 hits, 2 walks, and 0 strikeouts. If the series goes to a seventh game, Keuchel will be available to pitch again and perhaps make the start if needed.
Baltimore RB Alex Collins carried the ball a season high 19 times for 54 yards and scored two touchdowns in a win against Tennessee. The Ravens still have won all their games in which Collins has scored.
Trey Flowers also set a season high mark, recording 7 tackles, including one for a 2 yard loss, in a nail biting win over Kansas City.
Carolina WR Jarius Wright caught 1 of his 3 targets for 3 yards in a loss to Washington.
