We had previously talked about the pros and cons about former Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant coming to Arkansas. All of that was purely speculation based on his previous relationship with Chad Morris. Now we have more than speculation linking Bryant to the Hogs.
Woody Wommack of Rivals says that Bryant is planning to make an official visit to Fayetteville the weekend of Arkansas’ game against Tulsa on Oct. 20th. This weekend he is visiting North Carolina and the report also says he is trying to work out dates with Louisville and Missouri.
Bryant has been working out and will plan to enroll wherever he chooses to transfer in January, giving him a spring practice and summer to acclimate himself to the new program. As has been widely talked about before, Clemson’s offense still has a lot of similar concepts from Morris’ time there and he would continue to use those as well in Fayetteville.
