While the wins aren’t coming on the field right now, Arkansas just landed another major recruiting target. Trey Knox, a 4-star wide receiver from Murfreesboro, TN just announced his commitment to the Hogs over Tennessee.

The Hogs and Vols were his main two choices but he also had interest from big time programs like Auburn, Clemson, and Florida. At 6-foot-5 and 215 pounds, he’s a physical receiver that can high point the ball and be a big red zone threat. 247Sports ranks him as the fifth 4-star of Arkansas’ class and in the top 200 overall in the nation.
He perfectly compliments the rest of the wide receiver class with his unique skillset. He’s a different type of receiver from the quicker Treylon Burks, Shamar Nash and TQ Jackson. These four wideouts are all highly regarded, Knox and Burks are the two highest rated commits the Hogs have right now. The group hasn’t made it to Fayetteville but is already being compared to the 2008 class that brought in Joe Adams, Greg Childs, and Jarius Wright.
