More On The Aggies
A&M has had a really strange fall from where they were at the beginning of the year. They came into conference play looking like the class of the SEC. Their only loss was to Arizona in Phoenix, and they had destroyed teams like West Virginia. Some injuries and suspensions have derailed things in conference play. They’ve lost their first five SEC games, including at home to LSU and nearly made it six against Ole Miss. They’ve righted the ship some of late and are still capable of playing high level ball.
Projected Starters

The Aggies will regularly play three players with a lot of size, which makes Darious Hall all the more important. If the Daryl Macon, Anton Beard, and Jaylen Barford trio is on the court then at least one will be at a big size disadvantage. Dustin Thomas will also need to replicate his rebounding performance from Oklahoma State against the A&M frontcourt.
3 Key Stats

A&M is built like a mega Oklahoma State. Outside shooting isn’t strong but they have elite size, defense, and offensive rebounding. A&M hasn’t been the team they were in November and December, but have been getting back on track and will be a major issue for the Hogs in this one.
