Lines

Arkansas is a 17 point favorite over the Aggies (nope, not those) with an O/U of (62). I kinda think the relief of not playing an SEC game this week with little pressure will allow the Hogs to shine (a bit) and let AA and other playmakers settle down a bit and just play ball. I think the Hogs win fairly easily here and probably go over the number as well.

Weather

With just a high of 80 on Saturday in Fayetteville and no chance of rain, you really couldn’t dial up a better day for Razorback football.

Notes

Tif at any point last week you allowed yourself to think “We’re gonna win this game!” You just did it to yourself. Can’t blame coach, can’t blame the players, or even the refs (although that holding call… yeesh!) It’s all on you. This team has told you time and time again under this staff “We’re not going to win in Arlington… sorry.”

Good news… these Aggies ain’t THOSE Aggies. This team, this staff, these players, for whatever reason seem to have issues with expectations. I’m not sure there are ANY expectations for this game besides showing up and wearing red (they’ll wear anthracite now just because I wrote this).

A win (and maybe more importantly a good showing by the offense) and there’s some breathing room, a moment to collect themselves as a team before tearing into the rest of the meat of this schedule… a loss… well a loss and you’ll need a hazmat suit before wading into any articles on Saturday night/ Sunday morning and, god forbid, any messages boards. I think we’ll be able to enjoy football this Saturday. Don’t take it for granted, I’m not sure how many more times we’ll get to say that this season. Go Hogs!
