The biggest thing you hope for in FCS is to not have anybody get hurt. That's exactly what happened with Ryan Pulley and we learned today's that it's pretty much the worst case scenario.

Pulley took to social media to confirm the injury. Postgame he speculated he did the same thing Kevin Richardson did to miss 2016. We don't know if it's the same injury exactly but it's the same result.
When Pulley came out, true freshman Kamren Curl came in and performed well considering the circumstances. But next week TCU comes to Fayetteville and putting a true freshman in place of one of your best defenders is very far from ideal. Curl will have to do a lot of growing up quickly.
It's too soon to know if this means Pulley will medical redshirt to have two years of eligibility next year. It's still early enough in the year to get a medical redshirt but we will see what he does.
