Saturday the Hogs hit double digits in commitments for the 2018 class when Luke Jones announced he’s coming to Fayetteville. The Pulaski Academy offensive tackle is the 10th commit overall and the second on the offensive line. Jones committed just a month after getting the offer from the Hogs at their Trench Hogs camp.
So excited to announce that I am 100% committed to the university of Arkansas!! #woopig pic.twitter.com/suCWvmFSrX

Jones had several offers from power five schools including Oregon and Missouri. He is rated as a three-star by 247Sports and is the 11th ranked player in the state of Arkansas. He joins Noah Gatlin as the other offensive line commit in the class. Jones isn’t the highest rated recruit, but Bret Bielema and Kurt Anderson have proven to zero in on specific guys they feel are a better fit than going after the biggest name.
At 292 lbs., Jones already has the size needed at the D1 level. You can check out his highlights from 2016 here. Working on the right side of the line, he shows a good combination of power and mobility. That versatility is clearly something the Arkansas coaching staff is attracted to.
