With some uncertainty on the recruiting trail regarding offensive linemen, Arkansas getting the signature of Silas Robinson has become pretty important for Chad Morris. One of the two to flip from SMU to Arkansas, Robinson doesn’t have the highest recruiting rating, but clearly Morris sees some real value in him.

Robinson’s strength comes in the run game, where he was part of an impressive attack in Texas that averaged over 300 yards per game on the ground. He was an all-state lineman as a junior and his team made the Texas 3A semifinals each of his last two years.
Not the highest regarded recruit, his only other P5 offer was from Virginia, but Morris obviously sees a high upside with him since he was one of only two recruits to move from SMU to Arkansas. The other was Mike Woods, their highest rated recruit. It also comes at a place of high need for the Razorbacks, who are hoping to turn around their dismal o-line play from the past two years.
